1st Lt. Jason D. Mann served in the Marine Corps as an Arab linguist, reconnaissance professional and ground intelligence officer. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving a commission as a Second Lieutenant on May 6, 2005. After attending The Basic School, Infantry Officer’s Course and the Ground Intelligence Officer Course, he reported to 1st Battalion, 6th Marines for duty as the battalion’s assistant intelligence officer and later, the battalion’s scout sniper platoon commander. On July 17, 2008, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, he made the ultimate sacrifice for his beloved family, Corps, and country. This special hunt is in honor of his life, memory, and service to the United States of America.

All proceeds from this memorial hunt are going to support the Families of the Wounded Fund, Inc. This charity raises funds for families who are caring for their severely wounded family member at McGuire Veterans Hospital’s polytrauma unit in Richmond, Va and at Ft Belvoir, VA.

Join us on Saturday, 28 October at the Rose Hill Game Preserve in historic Culpeper County, Virginia to participate in a traditional European Tower Shoot. This special all day hunt event will be limited in size and we are asking for a $1,000 charitable contribution to the Families of the Wounded from each hunter signed up. If you are unable to attend, but would like to make a donation to allow a wounded service member to participate in this memorial hunt please contact:
